Sunday, January 18, 2009. We had an appointment with a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist on 1-15 because our previous ultrasound indicated that Mikayla's lateral ventricles (in her brain) were at the upper range of normal (ventriculomegaly). The specialist confirmed that the ventricles looked fine and likely just represent an upper variation of normal for a fetus at this stage of development. So, everything seems fine! Monday, January 12, 2009. Sunday, January 11, 2009. The shopping has already begun!

Saturday, January 17, 2009. Thursday school was cancelled due to dangerously cold temperatures. The highest I saw the temp. get without the windchill was -7. Friday was the same thing although by the time I left work it was 0 and I could tell it was warmer! So off he goes to work and here we are with no water. Friday, March 5, 2010. Luke is 3 weeks old today and it is getting easier. He is a very good baby, easy to console for the most part (except for when he has a tummy ache). Aunt Holly came up to visit last week also. I'm so grateful for friends who have delivered meals to us and come by to visit. We are so blessed! She's been taking gymnastics since she was 2, but Dan and I have been hesitant to put her on team since it is very time consuming and A LOT of money! Way to go Maddy! Maddy and her good friend Cassidy waiting to vault. Level 3 girls took 1st place and the coach was so proud of Madison that she let her take the team trophy home until the next practice! Woo hoo we are so proud of you, Maddy!

Friday, August 29, 2008. Wednesday was the first day of school for both Jake and Jordan. As you can see in the picture though, only Jordan is dressed. Sunday, December 21, 2008. A Visit to Santa and the Reindeer Poinsettia. The first Saturday in December Grandma Pat and I take the kids to see Santa. He is at a nursery and it's pretty chilly! You're supposed to let them know if you're coming and they will have gifts for the kids to unwrap. We are really pleased with how it turned out. Dan and I have been enjoying lighting the torches and hanging out there after the girls have gone to bed.
