Thursday, 19 January 2017. Back on the Stoke. 18 months ago I decided to set off on a different path and put my competitive surfing on hold. It was hard at first and at one stage didn't surf for 9 months. Something that you live for and do everyday taking a backseat. I jumped on a yacht in the Caribbean doing charters with not much time off to get in the water. We got the go ahead to head to the Maldives just over a month ago, where the waves are plentiful! Below is my 2017 work, there hasn’t been a lot because of how busy I am at my new job and the change of art styles has pushed me to really focus on only my job and not personal projects. Directly below is some of the work I did during my stay at Artillery Games. Pieces were blocked out in Zbrush, retopologized in Topogun and then hand painted in 3D Coat.
