Thursday, April 23, 2015. Bro Sheldon and Sis. Sharon (Justin's uncle and aunt from AZ) came to our house on Thursday morning. Justin and Kaitlyn came back from their honeymoon that afternoon. We enjoyed watching them open their wedding presents. It was pretty cool how the Amish wrapped their presents. They never give an empty container. For instance if it is brand new Tupperware they will fill it with pretzels, party mix, cookies, etc. Someone gave them money in the shape of a swan. Pretty cool! We foun...

Friday, May 30, 2014. April showers bring May flowers! Lillia has taken over the garden this year and her string bean plants are just peeping through the ground. Thanks to Grandmommy we have a bed of mint growing in our garden! There's nothing like a cold glass of mint tea! We doggy-sat one of our friend's German Shepherd dogs this past week. This little sweetheart is growing so fast! He's crawling all over the place and tries to eat anything he can reach! What's that in my trunk? And let the zipline go!

Thursday, November 13, 2014. Hurricane Mountain - New York. We met our friends at their hotel in Lake Placid then traveled to the east side trailhead. There are three different trials you can take up Hurricane Mountain. This was Joshua and Daddy's third time up the mountain on this trail but for the rest of us it was only our second time to hike up on this side. Starting out it is pretty easy. In the clearing where the watchtower cabin and lean-to was located. Finally at the top! Joshua, Andrew, and David.

Thursday, July 31, 2014. July is a busy birthday month for our family. One Sunday afternoon we drove down to Delaware to celebrate Uncle Mike and Grandmommy's birthdays. For lunch we had a fun time pickin' crabs! Eric and Aunt Betsy and Hope and Uncle Mike. Cracking the legs to get to the meat. David loved using the hammer! Just be aware that if you sit near him you'll probably have crab juice and shell pieces all over you after he's satisfied with smashing the legs! Uncle Mike and Uncle Joe and David.
