In early 2010, life threw me a sharp curve ball. I was inducted into that dreaded C-club. On my journey (and believe me, I'm still on it) I looked for a resource like this, but I couldn't find it. There are many, many, great web-sites and organizations that provided a lot of help, but I found there was something missing. Where is the hope? Where are the success stories?

The facts about cancer. More people are surviving cancer. What’s astounding is, according to the World Health Organization, heart attacks and related heart ailments are the top worldwide killer; infectious diseases are second and cancer is third.* While these statistics are no cause for celebration, they illustrate how we’ve become fixated on cancer. Most people. It’s time to change our perception. Although not everyone survives cancer, thankfully a great many of us do and more will.

A personal reflection from the founder. There isn’t anything easy about cancer. It may be true that the diagnosis and the treatment involve only the patient; but the emotions that go along with it also have a huge impact on the patient’s family and friends. I hope this section will inspire and help guide those who wish to help someone in their journey. Adding to that , it may not be just for cancer, perhaps through any adverse life event. For Friends, Colleagues and Family. WHAT DO I SAY? Co-ordinate som...
