The truth about TRUE love. I was so impacted the other day when I read these lines . Love God—and Love People. When you love God, you desire to know Him. When you love people, you desire for them to know God. It is not enough for us to know Jesus and not be inflamed by His passionate love for people. It changes your perspective when you see people through God's eyes. How far am I willing to go for a single soul? A poem I wrote about uncovering beauty and loving passionately. Perhaps it's nitpicky, but I've never really liked the phrase "I love you to the moon and back.". I've seen people get so ushy-gushy romantic, or sweet and sentimental about it, as if that phrase was a huge testament of love. All that phrase makes me think is, why such a short distance? I know the moon is quite a distance for us to travel (especially on a daily basis). I mean logistically speaking how often do we get our hands on a spaceship, right? Lately I've been inspired, by this song. Safe and Sound sung by Taylor Swift, is on the soundtrack for the movie The Hunger Games. That premiered in theaters across the nation this last spring.
