Friday, May 30, 2014. Kale learned a whole lot this year in Kindergarten. (Not the least of which was the idea of staying on someone else's task for several minutes at a time! His least and most liked subjects were, respectively, reading and science. His ultimate motivation was the school prize box (pick your prize once you reach a per-determined goal: he's sporting one of his prizes in the picture below). Wednesday, May 22, 2013. More of the Same. The latest on our add-on. About to put the floor on. Kale wanted to model his neat daddy socks after getting ready for church. Say cheese. ok, maybe DINOSAUR! That was a good try! Maybe open your eyes while you smile? Look at the camera. Smile! Now this time try not jumping while you smile. Save the food for after. Tuesday, November 5, 2013. It doesn't get better than a park for our kids - if we ask where they'd like to go when we're in town the first response will always be "The Park! During our last visit to family all over Utah we had the chance to go to many parks. nobody got tired of it though. :). Ashlynn and Kason display their enthusiasm. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies. Altman Chocolate Chip Cookies. Butter or margarine, softened. Vanilla instant pudding mix, dry (about 1/2 c.). Whip butter, pudding and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cook at 350 for 7-9 minutes. Cool for 1-2 minutes on pan before removing. Taste some more. Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Rushing to the truck barefoot after. Our little family gets older. Also, don't forget the birthday pool party the day before: 6 inches of snow on the ground and swimming. :). They love to dash out into the snow and then dash back. Us watchers had to keep running back to the truck to warm up. December 19, 2013 at 5:42 PM. That is so wonderful! I wish so badly that I could have been there for the baptism!
