A few of my favorite (newborn) things…. February 7, 2014. Within the past few months, we have had several good friends give birth to very sweet babies. We also have several other people we love that are either due soon or like my sister and brother in law. Are waiting eagerly for the arrival of their adopted son (my nephew! Everything from pizza take out, to casseroles, soup, to desserts. This was a Godsend. I decided I will always include breakfast when I bring a meal for a family. A good water bottle.

I have to take a moment after writing that to just breathe. That breaks my heart. So anyways, she lasted as long as she could endure and then switched to formula. Can I tell you something? Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Tonight for dinner, I made the tastiest, most wonderfully sloppy, sloppy joe. *Swoon*. He was handsome, spicy, flavorful and filling. He kept me wondering what the next bite would bring, and had me begging for more. Really, this is as close as I can get without settling for something like fake meat crumbles (which I have sort of grown to despise).
