Sunday, May 02, 2010. Joshua's Big Birthday Weekend! On Joshua's actual birthday, his day started off with a "special" Mickey Mouse pancake. Happy Birthday to you. I wanted to paint him a sign for a surprise when he got off the bus from school (great idea Jeanine), but that morning went by so fast that I had very little time. The next thing I knew I was painting and trying to tape up a wet banner (in the wind) all within 10 minutes! Joshua: Mom, why do you have that sign up there? We had a great time!

Saturday, September 25, 2010. Visits to the zoo. This summer we headed to Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek with the Todish clan. The kids and parents had a great time and were worn out by the end of the day. Feeding the giraffes were a favorite and always the highlight. We also ended up getting a membership at the John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids. We went once with our cousin, James. His little sister Lillian also went, but she was still inside Kris' belly! Sunday, January 31, 2010. Haircuts, football, turkey, and cake.wrapping up 2009! Evan's 1st haircut.finally. We had our annual OSU/U of M party in November and had a great time catching up with our friends. Liza Jane and Joshua are 1 week apart in age. They show that even the biggest rivals can be friends :). Anne, Pam, and I. Joshua's 1st snowmobile ride. He absolutely LOVED it! TJ says it's in his blood :). Thursday, January 20, 2011. On Wednesday January 12th at 8:41am, Anna Miriam Wickstrom. Arrived. She weighed 6 lbs 14 ounces and was 18 inches long. It was quite a surprise since my due date was January 28th, but I was ready to meet our new addition to the family. We woke up at 5:00am (my water broke) and we were on the way to the hospital by 6:45am after dropping off Joshua and Evan to our friend's house. I was checked in and had my epidural by 7:15am (thank goodness! Papa and his little girl.

Monday, December 20, 2010. A few quick updates before Christmas! The boys got bunk beds at the end of October, and they absolutely love them! We were a little leery with Evan since he was transitioning out of his crib, but he climbed right up and was so proud that he had a "big boy bed! Ice cream after the Ohio State/U of M football game. Thanks to our "hook up" at Hudsonville Ice Cream :). The boys helping make TJ's 33rd birthday cake! Having good taste testers is VERY important. Birthdate 7.5.08.
