Friday, February 5, 2010. Our last night on the Honeymoon and flight home. We loved Spice so much, we ate there again on our last night. From Cancun, we flew to Miami. We saw the sun set from the sky, and when we got over Miami, we could see flooded streets. It was quite a sight, and due to weather conditions, our next flight was delayed. Friday, February 5, 2010. Our Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner. Our rehearsal was held at the church we got married in, Trinity Reformed, and our rehearsal dinner was held at Chez Pierre on May 29, 2009. The practice went perfect, the food was delicious, and the company was even better. I asked a talented friend, Sarah Burke, to take pictures for me. Friday, February 1, 2013. Happy Friday to everyone! This week my favorite is a tasty one.macarons! They are just the best. It's a perfect little sweet treat that isn't too filling, but full of flavor. They used to be a treat just when I traveled. This fall when I was in San Fran, I hit up Miette, an adorable little bakery that specializes in macarons. I have their cookbook but haven't attempted baking them in my kitchen just yet. The photos below are from Miette and some pre-Christmas Pistache macarons.
