This Momma's Journey: Samantha
http://thismommasjourney.blogspot.com/p/samantha.html
After a pregnancy filled with lots of monitoring, testing and weekly p17 shots, at 39 weeks and 2 days, on November 9, 2010, our third child and second daughter was born. Samantha Anne made her way into the world at 3:24 PM weighing 7 lbs, 13 ounces and 20 inches long. Our cesarean was scheduled for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9. We had to be there at noon to get everything all set up. Blood taken, gown and all set up for surgery. Samantha was finally out! Dusty got some great pictures, which I apprecia...

Saturday, February 1, 2014. Obviously, I'm behind. Charlotte's 13 1/2 months old and I haven't done a 12 month update, Christmas update or shared any of the good things going on in Matthew's honor. My goal this week is to get caught up! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Once upon a time a girl met a boy, fell in love and lived happily ever after. She certainly keeps us busy! After 3 miscarriages in 2009, we proudly welcomed Samantha Anne into the world. View my complete profile. Obviously, Im behind.

This Momma's Journey: April 2014
http://thismommasjourney.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 3, 2014. Recently, I've been asked rather frequently by well-meaning (I hope) people why we participate in March for Babies. Considering that we did not have a "happily ever after" story to share, some feel that it's weird, or that we should focus our efforts more on organizations centered around SIDS. This research gave us 70 days with him. 70 days of hugs, kisses, diaper changes, cuddles, naps, adventures and memories. All things we may not of had if he had been born 20 years ag...After...

This Momma's Journey: Charlotte
http://thismommasjourney.blogspot.com/p/charlotte-grace.html
In April of 2012, we went to Alabama to visit Dusty's grandmother. Her health was rapidly declining and we really wanted the opportunity to have her meet Samantha and for Samantha to meet her. We wanted a chance to say our "I Love Yous" and our good-byes. Shortly after we returned from Alabama, things felt a bit off. I was in disbelief. I took several more tests of several brands. Before I allowed myself to find truth in it, I needed to be sure. Every single one was positive. We got back home by the time...

This Momma's Journey: Kaitlyn
http://thismommasjourney.blogspot.com/p/kaitlyns-birth-story.html
My due date was November 14, 2004. For the weeks leading up, I had been told over and over again by my OB that I wouldn't make it to my next appointment, my cervix was effaced, she had dropped and I was ready. Imagine my frustration when my due date came and went. I had tried everything to help her out! I woke up Dusty, he showered, got ready and we were off! That 10 minute car ride to the hospital felt like forever. When we arrived, we found that I was having regular, strong contractions, but I wasn...

This Momma's Journey: Beachside Vow Renewal
http://thismommasjourney.blogspot.com/2014/02/beachside-vow-renewal.html
Tuesday, February 11, 2014. One of the greatest parts about marrying your best friend is being able to celebrate 10 years of marriage! I know 10 years isn't really that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. However, we've been through a lot in just 10 years. 7 pregnancies, 4 live births, 3 gorgeous rambunctious little girls and 1 incredibly missed little boy. Through it all we grew together, stronger and closer. Our wedding - August 2004 - 27 weeks pregnant. A few months later, Kaitlyn was here!

This Momma's Journey: August 2013
http://thismommasjourney.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 28, 2013. I have some pretty incredible friends. Many of them are parents. They are all so incredibly inspirational, encouraging, motivating, genius and simply amazing. They all have one thing in common. They love their kids. Sincerely and genuinely. How can you not respect that? To all the parents who:. Breast feed or formula feed or extend breast feeding into toddler hood. Cloth diaper or disposable diaper or skip diapers all together. Had epidurals or unmedicated labors. Have an adve...

This Momma's Journey: October 2013
http://thismommasjourney.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 28, 2013. I know this post is a. A week behind. Maybe part of me believes that if I delay the posting, she will stop growing as fast? Charlotte is just growing so fast. She's absolutely adorable and melts hearts every single day. She's just shy of 18 pounds and 29.25" tall. Although, I wouldn't be shocked if she grew another inch this week. She makes a lot of sounds and a few sound like words. The basics mostly, mama and dada. I can't believe she is nearly 1. Links to this post. I was get...

View my complete profile. Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Technology in the Classroom. In my field experiences here at UNI. I have got to see and experience a lot of technology. I also noticed that some of the students got to use computers in that classroom to help them learn the lessons. I've also gotten to see SMART Boards. Image: permission to use by BES photos.
