Saturday, May 20, 2006. At Dinner yesterday a topic that came up was: If you had kids would you prefer it to be a girl or a boy. The ladies at the table immediately answered they would prefer a girl to a boy anyday! Why you ask them? It is more fun bringing up a girl and they stay with you for more longer! But someone said parents have to be little more careful with girls than boys and fear more when the girl gets old and is away from you! So what do you want- A girl or a boy? Posted by BUS @ 11:28 AM.

If you would have told me, a few months back, that soon I will be making it to the US, I would have simply laughed, treating it as a joke because I was too lazy to travel 1/2 the world across. Anyway, it is God's will that I am now in the US of A! My daughter's parents in law who have come a few months ago, were about to leave in a few week's time. You can make them for tomorrow night dinner", told my daughter greatly relieved since she has to prove my worth to her in laws.

Thursday, December 06, 2007. Do I have to prepare specially for the interview? I asked my brother anxiously. The flight had just landed in San Francisco and we were at the airport. "No, not at all. They will just ask very simple questions", encouraged my brother and I had a sigh of relief. We reached the airport entrance and my brother left me in the 'visitor's 'queue' and left. This is the first time I am coming to the US of A from India and hence the anxiety. Then who will escort me back to India?

Sunday, November 06, 2005. Assume, one gets all the above said in life, is that enough? What is final and binding? Preceptors and saints insist on freedom from birth and death cycles. To achieve this, one should always bear in mind, 'The Lotus Feet' of The Lord! Often I have heard elderly people, insisting on the importance of The Lord's feet. I used to wonder, what is so great in The Lord's feet? Why not enjoy His whole form? Why is so much importance given to His Lotus feet? Praise The Lord :).

Monday, August 29, 2005. I am sure most of the people in the US have moved apartments/homes at least once during their stay here. I am also sure that all of such people will agree that moving is painful. I recently moved across states. This has further strenghtened my belief that moving is indeed painful. Oh God!
