Well as I sit here at my computer, and the clock has just passed 12 am, I think to myself, WOW. today is the day that we leave for Africa. In just over 12 hours we will be on the plane waiting for takeoff, which is scheduled for 12:40pm. Please continue to lift up the people of Uganda.

The pediatrician was super pleased with her physical, emotional and mental development. He gave her a BIG complement by saying she was one of the nicest babies he has met yet! Monday, October 17, 2011. Friday, October 7, 2011. We have a 2 1/2 year old! This week our little girl turned 2 1/2! It's amazing how time has flown by. Wasn't she just a tiny, dependent baby? At 2 1/2 she is nearly potty trained, can sing her ABC's, play CandyLand (for real! Is scared of the dark (and ghosts apparently - after watching todays Handy Manny episode), can put on her own socks and shoes, and can opperate the TV and DVD player. She's still below average in weight, but consistent for herself.
