Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Vacation at Steamboat Springs and Estes Park. Estelle and Kevin had a cute condo at Steamboat Springs and the weather was so lovely we ate outside. This is Estes Lake. It was a beautiful setting. There were many glaciers in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Howard is standing at treeline about 11,000 ft. The Yampa River at Steamboat had just opened for tubing and was running high and swift. It scared us from trying. Vacation at Estes Park. I'm not taking a squat in the trees.

This summer has been so memorable and we were blessed to have the entire family together for most of it. Our ninth grandchild was born a week after school got out on June 10th. Little Connor John Odell, with his red hair and blue eyes is adorable! Connor John Odell was the new addition to our family this year. And a wonderful start to a great summer.

And. they're expecting their first baby very soon! So, we decided we needed to get one more trip up to Bret's families "amazing" cabin up by Strawberry Reservoir. Friday, March 30, 2012. She was just glowing, and so excited to be baptized as you can tell. Since Destiny had a "convert" baptism, she was confirmed on Sunday in Sacrament Meeting by her Grandpa. It was a great thing to be a part of, and yet again, I was proud to have a husband that can use his Priesthood. What a cute family. Jordan's sister Chelsea is such a great Mom. I gave the baptism talk at Destiny's baptism, and hope she knows how much we love her. We're a proud Aunt and Uncle, that's for sure.
