While I learned volumes about the culture of the represented firms and centers, the most valuable lesson is overarching- A legal interview is unlike any other. And I do mean "any.". Anyway, the reluctance to interview 1Ls can be enhanced when these unwilling recruiters are forced to do OCI at a historically black university, such as mine. Here, the interviewer smiles at you...
