Jay, Jamie and Josiah. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Cruisin'.Josiah's 1st vacation! Last week we went on a cruise to New England and Canada that flew out of NY. We went with a group of 22 friends and family of the Blackburns. Jay's parents generously treated us to this wonderful family vacation! Jay's mom organized the whole trip and did a fabulous job. Thanks to Jack and Debbie for taking us and to Debbie for all the months of hard work planning the trip! Riding Uncle B's shoulders in Portland ME....

Until the fall when we will start Classical Conversations, we are going to focus on learning how to read. We sat down for our first lesson today, and it was greatly accepted by Christian. When he realized he read his first word, he was so excited! I am teaching him how to read based on this how-to. Thursday, February 21, 2013.
