What a great (not) day to start back to work in a classroom. I have a senior kindergarten/grade 1 this year. Halloween is big and very loud at this age. Denis is my long awaited son. Life is a new adventure each and every day. Saturday, October 13, 2012. A hat to mark the LACK of a hockey season (as if I care about hockey). This is the first time my sister has been well enough to walk around on an outing since Denis came home 19 months ago, my brother and I discovered how they are such absolutely opposite. The only times we were all together was entering and exiting the village. This is the typical view that I had of Denis while we were in the village.

I love that November is Adoption Awareness month, as it is the month I met my little guy. 3 years ago last Sunday I met Denis for the first time. I can't believe it has only been 3 years, at the same time I can't believe that 3 years have already passed. Here is Denis when we saw Santa. I think Uncle John and I were happier than Denis. I was up until 1:00AM making a trick or treat bag for Ciera. Saturday, August 13, 2011. Where has the summer gone? My gran was right.as you get older the time just flies right by. We have been camping twice (so far), splashed lots in our little pools (decided not to put up the big one this year as it would be too tricky to watch 2 kids in 2 different pools! And Fridays hockey at 6:00, that’s dressed and on the ice, which is picking them both up then backtracking to the arena. This is when a husband would come in handy! A gaggle of geese walking down our street!

Thursday, July 21, 2011. Warrior Dash aka Mom's afternoon out. If you have not heard about the Warrior Dash, you need to, it's serious fun! I have not smiled so wide for so long than I did for the 51:28:45 that it took me to run this, and for hours afterwards! The sheer number of people there was amazing, but more amazing was the organization of the event, it was stellar. But we make it, picked up our race packs.which included these awesome warrior helmets. I can see us wearing these babies out all year!

Monday, May 31, 2010. I think I'm living with a 90 year old woman! Ciera does and says alot of things that make me think.how in the world does she know that? But tonight at dinner I darn near spat my food across the table in laughter. Ciera has this REALLY. Annoying habit that I give her heck for all the time, and in fact told her yesterday the next time she did it she'd be on the stairs in a time out. Her habit? I say something and she replies "pardon?
