Monday, March 11, 2013. Relief Society Birthday Party. Every year in March our church celebrates the "birthday" of the world's largest women's organization: The LDS Relief Society. It was my job (along with three wonderful ladies) to put together the event. We strung Christmas lights and hung paper pom poms. We served a Cafe Rio style buffet and served over 200 cupcakes. Thursday, March 6, 2014. These little kiddos were pretty proud of their balloons and couldn't wait for Papa to catch them. The big launch:1,2,3 "Happy Birthday Dad/Son/Papa/Steve". And up to Heaven they went. Although it was very cold the snow stopped falling just long enough for us to launch the balloons before starting again. It was a perfect moment. After we could no longer see the balloons we ate dinner and this delicious cookies and cream fudge cake I made. It was so good! And so did Nana.

Thursday, April 26, 2012. Last weekend was a little crazy but fun none the less. Mailey's umbilical cord stump fell off when she was about a week and half old, and she got to have her first soak in the tub kind of bath. She loved it! Mailey also was back to her birth weight by her two week birthday and even passed it by 3 ounces! I weighed her yesterday and she was 6lbs 12oz and has also grown an inch in two and a half weeks!
