Mercy is a Christian mission that provides free or low-cost maternal health care to women living in severe poverty who cannot afford maternal care. Mercy has operated for over 16 years and conducts over 20,000 prenatal exams and delivers an average of 1500 babies each year. And Mercy shares the gospel with the women. The Mercy Clinic here in Davao City, Philippines has been using the Midwife-EMR software on a daily basis since mid-February of this year. Just to convey an idea of the level of use, here are a few stats on the number of prenatal exams recorded in the software. Number of prenatal exams in February: 596. It uses standard web technologies like HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript running in a standard browser, whether on the laptop or the tablet. Each action results in a page refresh and the pages employ a minimal amount of Javascript. Maybe they dont understand what a SPA designed application is and what it would mean for their user experience?
