Keeping Up With The Engels. Sunday, June 7, 2015. Well, the first picture of my belly and wow am I growing fast this time! Last time when I was this far along, you wouldn't have even been able to tell. This time I had to share with others much quicker since my belly starting to "pop" out! Sleeping: It has already begun with waking up 1-2 times per night due to the fact that I have to pee all the time! I just need to eat more consistently and smaller portions throughout the day. Tired: From when I first f...

Keeping Up With The Engels. Monday, January 28, 2013. Wowhow time seems to fly by. It seems like yesterday I told my husband I was pregnant. The whole concept and idea of this baby inside my tummy is just mind blowing. Pretty soon, I will get to meet our little baby boy! I'm getting so excited! Emma, my godchild, says Valentine's Day! We do have 2 that we are considering ...

The baby this week is the size of a grapefruit! Here are the measurements for our baby however, I think our baby is ahead of the average weight. It says that the baby is listening to my voice and heartbeat and even loud sounds like horns and barking dogs! Best moment of the week: I got to feel the baby kick!

The Quams Blog: Lincoln's one year old
http://thequamsblog.blogspot.com/2013/09/lincoln-one-year-old.html
Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Lincolns one year old. Today is Lincoln's birthday, and he is trying each rock one by one. He isn't in love with the taste, but continues to go back for more. And he has a good arm for throwing them back into the pile. Labels: One year old Lincoln. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Quasman Family Blog. The Perry Family Blog. The Nogelmeier Family Blog. The Meendering Family Blog. Lincolns one year old. Some average weekend fun. And she is off.
The Quams Blog: August 2013

Friday, August 30, 2013. Eleven month boy with 2 teeth is finally getting those top ones in! Our little baby boy is one month away from being a one year old! Lincoln still only has his two bottom teeth in, which he's had for quite some time. And though with each month we've thought his top two or four were going to come in, this time, it's for real. There is true white visible on a few of them. So I believe by the time he turns one, he will have more than just the two teeth ;-). On the 20th of Aug, he we...
The Quams Blog: March 2013

Saturday, March 23, 2013. At Grandma and Grandpa's house last night (she spent last three nights there with her cousins and the daycare kids too). She got to see the cows at the sale barn and "they were sooooooo big". Things Olivia does lately that I find amusing and wanted to share:. Then she usually calls him with one of her toy mobile phones, and it is all we can do not to just crack up! Something she maybe gets from mom? She says "are you kidding me? Something she maybe gets from dad? She can tell no...
The Quams Blog: July 2013
http://thequamsblog.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 29, 2013. Lincoln crawling into 10 months. Nothing is off limits now. Just in the last week, he's taken off. He is also really keen to pull himself up on things. He hasn't been super successful yet, but you can tell he is just on the cusp of being quite successful. The anticipation of his crawling was just killing us, but now we remember how quick they can be! Lincoln has a lot more conversation style with us. I recently read this about tone, and definitely find it to be true with him:.
The Quams Blog: Some average weekend fun
http://thequamsblog.blogspot.com/2013/09/average-weekend-fun.html
Sunday, September 22, 2013. Some average weekend fun. This weekend Olivia got to see her cousin Quinn and Grandma Janie for a book reading at the art museum. Then, she and Quinny admired the campanile. And played around on the steps. Quinn joined us for lunch, and after lunch, the kids got rowdy jumping on the bed; it was clear Lincoln wanted to be involved with the jumping business. But he settled for some snuggles. She was really enjoying the cooking! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). And she is off.
The Quams Blog: Lincoln is 18 months old
http://thequamsblog.blogspot.com/2014/03/lincoln-is-18-months-old.html
Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Lincoln is 18 months old. What can I say. I haven't wrote in over six months, oh yeah, that's right. Once you get a bit behind you start to feel like you should get certain things uploaded (like our trip to Florida or Christmas. or better yet, even Lincoln's birthday from end of September? I just got my Christmas letters out for goodness sake! And I actually ran out of letters, so I am obviously not even 'caught up' there! What can I say about our little big boy? BEAR ATTACKS -...
The Quams Blog: February 2013
http://thequamsblog.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. And Lincoln is growing! According to our scale, he is now weighing in at 21 pounds! He is a big boy, and it is clear that he is approaching the timeline of wanting to eat solids! He watches very intently as we eat - and if he is on my lap when I eat, he follows the spoon all the way back to my mouth - and/or when I drink. At times, he will even try to intercept! We have really large cups for our water, and I have to be sure to hold it tightly or he swats it away. The 'jump-a-...
The Quams Blog: June 2013
http://thequamsblog.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 27, 2013. Lincoln is 9 months old already! Though Lincoln isn't mobile, he certainly is getting a lot more active! He has a little bit of scooting that he does, getting to things as. He needs, and he is working on a crawl, just usually manages to grab whatever he wanted by hitting something against another thing with his arm extended as far out as possible. It's pretty cute, but makes mom quite nervous in the bathtub portion of the evening! He also is very active with both of his hands.
The Quams Blog: July 2014
http://thequamsblog.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 20, 2014. Olivia's becoming such a little person. four year update. It's obscene how long its been since I've been on here regularly, giving updates about the little snuglets. But I guess there is no better time than now to get back into it a groove. Let's hope this can stick…. Livvy turned four this week, and well, sometimes four seems just as difficult as two. And sometimes, she seems as old as eight. She looked around and said, "No, I really want a Peppa Party". If you teach Olivia to fis...

Monday, September 9, 2013. Big eaters in this house! Lincoln loves green beans and Olivia just learned how to make one of her mother's childhood favorites - whip cream, graham cracker crumbs and bananas. She did inform me as she was eating it "mom, I wish there was just cream in this." Awesome stuff! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Quasman Family Blog. Way to go Ailey! You may be wondering what this is. I too was inquisitive. Maddox came to show me his arm this morning asking "Mom, what is this? Keeping up with the Evanses
Keeping up with the Evanses. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. 29 weeks {baby #3}. And just because it's been a few weeks since we compared. 29 weeks, 5 days. How big is baby:. Roughly the size of a butternut squash; around 2.75lbs in weight and about 15-17 inches long (head to heels) or 10.5in crown-to-rump. A repeat of last week. 0lbs? Yes, but funny enough, I put on a maternity scrub top this week and it's still gigantic. On me (or so it seems). I think I just may start calling this baby The Karate Kid. Ju...
