Go Your Own Way: October 2014
http://theadamsonblog.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2014. We painted pumpkins with the kids over the weekend! We decided to do something a little more kid friendly with our pumpkins this year since sitting around watching Corey carve their pumpkins isn't really the most fun thing for the kids. I got some washable finger paint from Target and let them go to town. Blair and Isaac each painted their own pumpkins and they painted Porter's together. Here are a few pictures if you'd like to see. Monday, October 13, 2014. We got to shoot the...

Sunday, May 31, 2015. May [in an instagram]. 1 Reading time turned into nap time. This never happens with him anymore - gotta soak it in! 2 We tried grilling pizza for the first time and it was so so good. 3 We spent the morning at the pool on Memorial Day. The boys had fun lounging together. 4 Diddle diddle dumpling ;). 5 We love Costco's double carts! 6 We celebrated our 4th anniversary in Hilton Head. We've spent three out of four there! 7 Science Center shenanigans. I'm sitting in Porter's lap! Satur...

Go Your Own Way: August 2015
http://theadamsonblog.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 27, 2015. Picnicking after a bike ride through Battleground Park. I ran alongside I&B on their bikes. Corey and Porter brought up the rear with the stroller. The boys all happened to be wearing gray one day which is my fav color on all of them. So handsome! One of Porter's favorite things to do in the kitchen lately is to take the feed tube pusher off of the food processor and yell into it. Porter knows the words! Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Porter Levi : 1 year. Sunday, August 2nd, 2015.

Go Your Own Way: January 2015
http://theadamsonblog.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 9, 2015. With the holidays and multiple scheduling conflicts, Porter's 4 month appointment turned into a 5 month appointment. I took him to the doctor this morning while Isaac and Blair went on a trip to the pet store with Mimi (and came home empty handed - they just like to go and visit the animals). We took a couple pictures while we waited for Dr. Brett! Here are his 5 month stats:. Weight: 19lbs 3oz (85th percentile). Height: 27.5 inches (95th percentile). Monday, January 5, 2015.

Life to the Fullest: March 2013
http://thescheuers.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Life to the Fullest. Monday, March 4, 2013. Nursery- Before and After. For the last several months, Nick and I have been working on the nursery. We knew we wanted something fairly neutral and calm. We both love the way that it turned out! Before we get to the good stuff, here are some before pictures. Just keeping it real- this room was pretty much a junk room/ storage space up until Christmas break when we finally cleared it out and painted. Before- no closet doors, bright blue inside closet. View my co...

Life to the Fullest: Pregnancy Progress
http://thescheuers.blogspot.com/2013/02/pregnancy-progress.html
Life to the Fullest. Tuesday, February 19, 2013. So, now that I am almost at the end of this pregnancy, I decided to go back and document it a little bit. I can honestly say that I have loved being pregnant and I think I will really miss it! I have tried to really enjoy each stage for what it is. Warning- this will be long! It's a lot of work to grow a baby! I also started getting up a lot in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, which became very common. I could still wear all my regular clot...

Life to the Fullest: Grayson Highlands
http://thescheuers.blogspot.com/2013/02/grayson-highlands.html
Life to the Fullest. Sunday, February 17, 2013. All the way back in December Nick and I decided to go backpacking at Grayson Highlands in Virginia. We wanted to celebrate Nick's birthday and also enjoy one more backpacking trip before we welcome our baby girl. The weather was perfect and we had the best time being together and enjoying one of our favorite places. We saw the wild ponies that live up on the mountain. They just roam around. Nick got close enough to feed them. February 17, 2013 at 7:20 PM.

Life to the Fullest: December 2011
http://thescheuers.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Life to the Fullest. Thursday, December 15, 2011. Thanksgiving at the Farm. This year Nick and I were able to spend part of Thanksgiving day on my grandparents farm in Walburg, NC. They purchased the land and built their house when I was young and we have so many great memories of the farm. Over the years Papa and Grams have had cows, sheep, a donkey, chickens and a rooster among other things! A few of the sheep- over the years we have been able to hold the baby lambs in the spring- so cool! One great th...

Life to the Fullest: Ocracoke, NC
http://thescheuers.blogspot.com/2012/12/ocracoke-nc.html
Life to the Fullest. Sunday, December 9, 2012. Towards the end of October, Nick had a conference on Ocracoke Island. I decided to tag along and we planned on staying a few extra days after the conference. Our inn was simple and quaint, perfect for what we needed with a beautiful view of the marina. Everything in the village was within walking distance. Sunrise over the marina. Walkway to the beach- from this point on the island you could see both the ocean and the sound. The beach was endless! Beautiful ...
