Friday, May 2, 2014. Last week was Muffins with Mom at Brychan's school. And events like these are what I live for. I LOVE being able to go to all these fun school events with my children. I just really love being a mom (even when the 18 month old has been screeching for two days straight - thank you new teeth - and I just want to put cotton in my ears to drown some of it out). Thursday, March 13, 2014. Gilbert Temple Open House. On Valentine's Day, we had the opportunity to go through the Gilbert Temple Open House. It was the last day that the temple was open to the public and we were lucky enough to have a friend who had extra tickets so we could go. Even with the tickets, we stood in line for a VERY long time. Thank goodness for gorgeous Arizona evenings! Their favorite parts of the temple? Sunday, July 28, 2013. Good, Clean Fun. A couple of weeks ago, the boys were obviously bored as they were doing not much other than fighting with each other about every. SoI laid out a plastic sheet in the yard, gave them a can of shaving cream and let them at it. It worked like a charm. A good 45 minutes of happy, quiet, fight-free play. And then when they were done, another 15 minutes of fun playing in the water, rinsing off. I think I'll start keeping a stock pile of cheap shaving cream around. Kehlto...
