The process of the mural began with a deep investigation into the history of Geneva, and reflection on how to visually present both historical fact and history's impact on our psyche today. The initial stage included research at the Geneva Historical Society, reading texts about the area's development, as well as work in the sketchbook. Bryan and Ken attended SVA together where they both received MFA degrees in Fine Art.
