This Is How We Do It. Rants and Ramblings from an Unschooling Mom. December 14, 2009. It has been way too long. It’s hard to believe that I haven’t written a post here since May. Incredible! I feel as though my life has just gone crazy in the last several months and I barely have time to think let alone come up with a post. But it’s important to maintain a record so I will try and fill in the blanks! Laquo; Blast from the past. I think I might actually cry. Evie, what a wonderful post! Iain and Ryan are ...

This Is How We Do It. Rants and Ramblings from an Unschooling Mom. February 7, 2009. That’s a wrap. Truth be told, I’m pretty terrible in those situations and don’t handle myself well. Sean had to tell me more than once to calm down so thank goodness he was here or else the kids could have been mentally scarred by the whole experience. Laquo; Our First Day With Unit Studies. Sounds great minus the crashing, head hitting, freaking out part. Glad that monkey is ok! On February 7, 2009. Hi there Evie,.

JOY | This Is How We Do It
https://eviecurley.wordpress.com/2009/01/13/joy
This Is How We Do It. Rants and Ramblings from an Unschooling Mom. January 13, 2009. We have had some joyful moments here lately. First, Ryan lost his first baby tooth and then had a lucrative visit from the tooth fairy. Then today, we headed down to one of the parks in our neighborhood and he overcame some fears while we were there. Take a look:. The look on his face just warms my heart. Then, even scarier than the 12ft slide was the (bum, bum, bum) See-Saw! Oh how he laughed, and laughed! We are so for...

http://ailsaphilandgirls.blogspot.com/2013/03/lake-leschenaultia.html
All things bright and beautiful. Sunday, March 31, 2013. While the weather is still so gorgeous, we decided to spend Easter Sunday up in the hills at a favourite spot for the locals. We threw some food in the picnic basket (we bought lunch up there, but well you know kids and fresh air = never stop eating! The water was icy cold despite the outside temperature, but that didn't stop lots of kids swimming. After lots of swimming, the girls wanted to go canoeing! Sunday, March 31, 2013. I had an idea for th...

All things bright and beautiful: FRESH FLOWERS IN THE HOUSE
http://ailsaphilandgirls.blogspot.com/2015/04/fresh-flowers-in-house.html
All things bright and beautiful. Sunday, April 26, 2015. FRESH FLOWERS IN THE HOUSE. I discovered a lovely man on a side road that sells the most gorgeous bunches of fresh flowers for a very reasonable price. The colours are just stunning, the fragrant smell divine. I bought a few mixed bunches, mainly because I couldn't decide, and also because it's nice to support the small business. I also got these gorgeous ones! Loving all the colours and smells in my house right now. Sunday, April 26, 2015. So Tues...

All things bright and beautiful. Sunday, April 05, 2015. Happy Birthday on Easter Sunday. I decided a camel trek through the Bibbulman track was in order today to celebrate turning another year older! Afterwards, we had afternoon tea in the tearooms. Ella and Kate had savouries and milkshakes, I opted for the scones with a milkshake, Phil finished off everything we didn't. Sunday, April 05, 2015. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). All things bright and beautiful: Girls' in the City
http://ailsaphilandgirls.blogspot.com/2015/04/girls-in-city.html
All things bright and beautiful. Sunday, April 19, 2015. Girls' in the City. With the end of the school holidays fast approaching, and seeing I have worked long hours all the way through, I let the girls' decide what to do today. They chose the City for some shopping and sights. On the way home. we stopped at the South Perth Foreshore which was very busy with walkers, runners, cyclists and families playing with balls and dogs! Stunning blue sky against architecture. The autumn leaves were stunning. Monda...

Altered Cutlery: Easy Tuna Dip
http://alteredcutlery.blogspot.com/2009/01/easy-tuna-dip.html
A practical girl who is altering her life, greening it as she goes and cooking up a storm. Friday, 2 January 2009. Thank you to another Lisa for this recipe! Here is my version. This was a huge hit on Christmas Eve at my place. 250g (8oz) cream cheese. 185g (6oz) can tuna in brine or springwater. 4tbs sweet chilli sauce. Allow cream cheese to soften, then beat it with electric mixer till it is soft and fluffy. Stir in tuna and chilli sauce and mix until all combined. Recipe can be halved. Please feel fre...
