Author, Keynote Speaker and Professional. Years later Daniel was recruited to join Hewlett Packard. To help them start their own software organization and bring that “garage start-up” attitude into the company. In this new environment he learned a great deal about how to be successful in a large, global, process driven organization. Daniel loved his time at HP and grew both personally and professional. But he also missed the risk and rewards of his early start-up days. As anyone who’s hired a corporate s...

Kilimanjaro Adventures: April 2009
http://kiliadventures.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2009. Welcome to Kilimanajro Adventures' Blog! Before my first visit to Kilimanjaro a friend who had already climbed it said "it's one of those 'life changing' places." Boy was she right. The people of Tanzania are warm and easy to laugh. Every time I go back I feel like I'm coming home. The landscape is breathtaking and the wildlife amazing. As a way to stay connected and give back I co-founded. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Welcome to Kilimanajro Adventures Blog!

Kilimanjaro Adventures: Treasures in Kilimanjaro
http://kiliadventures.blogspot.com/2009/07/treasures-in-kilimanjaro.html
Sunday, July 5, 2009. I tripped across this recent account of a 1978 Kilimanjaro climb. It's fantastic to read what it was like for Bob McKerrow to ascent the mountain before it really became the adventure tourist destination it is now. But the best part is the folklore he uncovered in Ethopia. I've heard some interesting stories before, but never a link between King Solomon and Kilimanjaro. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Kilimanjaro Adventures: Deadly Western Breach
http://kiliadventures.blogspot.com/2009/07/deadly-western-breach.html
Monday, July 13, 2009. A recent blog from a Mountain Maddness climber. A rock slide in 2006 killed three American climbers and injured several others. After this incident the route was closed for several months until the National Park Service opened a new route less prone to rock fall. Martha's report post last week leads me to believe there is still cause for concern. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tanzania UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
