The BBQuest: June 2012
http://thebbquest.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 18, 2012. Destination #4: King's Korner. Our fourth destination was the unusual King's Korner, located inside the Chesterfield County Airport! Mark, Gayle, Amanda, Josh, Ashley and Dan (and his dad) ventured to the airport for a taste of BBQ brunch for Father's Day. It was just how you'd think a BBQ brunch would be- half breakfast and half country cooking. With very reasonable prices and a cool experience, King's Korner was the place to be this past Sunday! An adding bonus to sitting outside...

The BBQuest: July 2012

Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Destination #5: Buz and Ned's. For our fifth destination, we headed to the new location of Buz and Ned's. While some of the BBQers had been to the first, smaller location, none had been to the expansive new one off of West Broad Street. We all liked the place from first walking in! There was a tub at the front to wash your hands before eating, an open layout, and the hugest ceiling fan most of us had ever seen. Now this is the mac-and-cheese I've been waiting for! Dan was a fan o...

The BBQuest: Destination #2: Dickey's
http://thebbquest.blogspot.com/2012/05/destination-2-dickeys.html
Tuesday, May 29, 2012. For Memorial Day, four of us BBQers decided to visit Dickey's Barbecue Pit for a tasty lunch. Dan, Ashley, Amanda and Josh headed into the BBQ pit ready for some good eatin'. Upon entering, we ordered our meals and then proceeded to the register. Dickey's offers dine-in or take-out, but we decided to dine-in. We could tell it was a kid-friendly place, with Amanda admiring the coloring pages on the wall. Dan noted. "The drinks alone are usually more than $2.". Ashley liked the extra...

The BBQuest: Destination #3: Q
http://thebbquest.blogspot.com/2012/06/destination-3-q.html
Sunday, June 10, 2012. Only two of us went for quick a review of Q. It was fast, delicious, and fun! Josh had the pulled pork sandwich plate with hush puppies and potato salad, and Amanda had the same, but with mac-and-cheese. The Glen Allen location was clean, bright, and friendly-feeling. The gentleman who took our order was very nice and attentive. When we got our number and our cups, we headed to the drink machine.and there was Cheerwine! The meat, we agreed, was amazing. Although it was no Mama's pu...
