Boy, Prince Edward County is lovely in the summer. Two views of a big, beautiful house. Across the street, a very attractive barn. A Noah’s Ark birdhouse. For those folks who don’t know the Sandbanks, the beach is backed by dunes and the sand is almost like talc, it’s so soft and fine. I spent three and a half hours on the beach and it was gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! So glad I went. Maybe next year I will walk or ride some of the trails as well. Tomorrow we tour around the West Lake area, outside of the Sandbanks Provincial Park. Thurs, July 30.

There is a subdivision north of Gore Road, in Pittsburgh Township, east of the Cataraqui River. A paved path has been built around it, and it is a most pleasant walk or bike ride. I have been around it a couple of times on the bike, but this time I decided to walk part of it. There were a few birdhouses around, but this was the deluxe model. Thursday, Aug. 6.
