What’s in a name? | The Paulescu Family
https://thepaulescus.wordpress.com/2011/12/16/whats-in-a-name
What’s in a name? December 16, 2011. We have named you, our precious little girl, and I want to tell you the story behind your name. The lovely Gilcrease family:. Your middle name holds significant family meaning. It comes from my great-grandma on Mima’s side, Carrie Fay Billings. She went by Fay. She was such a sweet, gentle-spirited woman, and she was also an artist. This photo was taken of her in her garden, which was the inspiration for most of her paintings. And one with a picture of her in her stud...

The most amazing thing. August 18, 2011. I finally have a moment to sit down and reflect on the most incredible, beautiful experience I’ve ever had so far in my life. Last Friday, August 12th, at 4:14pm, my niece Kennedy Elizabeth Green was born into our world, and I was blessed enough to be there to witness it. All of the pictures are wonderful from Kennedy’s birth-day, but here are a few of my favorites:. 3 Responses to “The most amazing thing”. August 20, 2011 at 12:00 am. August 22, 2011 at 11:26 pm.

What I already miss. {pregnancy-6 months} | The Paulescu Family
https://thepaulescus.wordpress.com/2012/08/18/what-i-already-miss-pregnancy-6-months
What I already miss. {pregnancy-6 months}. August 18, 2012. My mom has a poem in a hallway that is titled “I miss” written by my Nana, (my Dad’s mom,) and it goes on to describe everything about her children from when they were young that drove her crazy but now she misses and thinks back on with fondness… because all of those interruptions, annoying habits, messiness and noise meant she was blessed beyond measure to have children in her life. A good, wise friend once reminded me in the newborn days that.

No moo for you (well, just me). July 1, 2011. Good and bad news…. I’ve discovered MILK makes me throw up! Not the smell of it, or drinking it, but apparently after it gets in my tummy my body totally wants to reject it! 8221; (EXCEPT: I noticed that when I drank milk with a banana and peanut butter, alone or in a sandwich, I didn’t have any trouble with that. Any explanation on that…? The things that keep me going. June 30, 2011. 1) I have an incredibly loving, hard working husband who has totally taken ...

At 38 weeks | The Paulescu Family
https://thepaulescus.wordpress.com/2011/12/24/this-post-was
December 24, 2011. This post was necessary for my sanity. For me to just write out how I feel and how God is working on me as a new mother. Not so much a “sharing” post as a journal post, for me.). 8221; Now her head is starting to lodge itself firmly into a place I never wanted to feel like I have a fist pushing down on constantly. Nope Is the heartburn worse? Nope The random, really painful sciatica? But the fact that God is using MY body to GROW ANOTHER HUMAN BEING is beyond miraculous. And look at me...
