Red Geraniums: An Excellent Blaze
http://janepauls.blogspot.com/2015/07/an-excellent-blaze.html
Thursday, July 23, 2015. We have a lot of garbage piles in the back yard. Today we were able to burn part of one. It was a sight to behold. Danny was a very important part of this of course. He seems to enjoy a good blaze. After the fire was happily burning we started cleaning out behind the shop. All of us, even the kids were involved. Lots of tree branches, a few truck hoods, random metal scrap, that sort of thing. Beatrix happened to be close by when I had the camera out. How do you like our UFO?

Red Geraniums: May 2015
http://janepauls.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2015. Posted by Mrs. Pauls. I Thank The Lord For Making Me Our Children. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. We have two rather substantial walls in our house that are currently empty. One verse of a song has been returning to my mind again and again, and I love it because it is like poetry and the imagery is so vivid. You may know it. Could we with ink the ocean fill,. And were the skies of parchment made;. Were every stalk on earth a quill,. And every man a scribe by trade;. I told Mike what I was...

Red Geraniums: April 2015

Friday, April 24, 2015. Mack - 7 Months. Mack is 7 months old. This is a fact that I really struggle to wrap my brain around. Fall and Winter are lumped into one short little time span in my head. Truthfully I remember nothing of October and November, and only a few days of December and January. I will assume they happened and leave it at that. Mack has settled down and is quite happy these days. He goes to bed well and often sleeps for 6 hours in a night. Either way, I don't feel terribly sleep deprived.

Red Geraniums: Bathroom Renovation.... Number 2 !!??
http://janepauls.blogspot.com/2015/07/bathroom-renovation-number-2.html
Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Bathroom Renovation. Number 2! Would you think us crazy if we started a second bathroom renovation before we finished the first? This picture is from before we moved in. A fairly basic little powder room with CARPET. I'm sure you'll understand when I say that carpet in a bathroom is a very very bad idea. Also - given the history of this home and judging by the black behind the toilet, I can assure you that this carpet has been thoroughly defiled. Again with the too much information.

Red Geraniums: February 2015
http://janepauls.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 17, 2015. A New Sofa. sort of. A couple of weeks ago Nancy found us a new chair at Gospel Echoes. She dropped it off and I did the happy dance because it jives well with our existing furniture. We've been on the lookout for a new sofa slipcover for a while now. The one in this picture is stained and ripped and terribly faded. The problem was that ikea had discontinued our slipcover and I really did not like any other ones. Just to pick it up. He said it sounded great! I suppose it is pr...

Red Geraniums: March 2015
http://janepauls.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 29, 2015. Two months after our last post we have progress! Yesterday Mike and I went to Winnipeg and picked up our new sink! We also purchased flooring at Rona. I had picked another flooring out that costed $7/sq foot. Then, on a whim we stopped at the Rona thinking it may have more selection than our local store. Sure enough, we found almost identical flooring for $3.81/sq foot, saving us some cash. Posted by Mrs. Pauls. I Thank The Lord For Making Me Renovating. Wednesday, March 18, 2015.

The Schmidt House: April 2015

Thursday, April 30, 2015. Brought to you by Lisa. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. The Wrong Kind of Exciting. Yesterday was not one of our better days. It all started Saturday night. Cory was trying to get to Saskatoon safely through the blizzard and Cailyn announced that she had a tummy ache. She wanted to go to sleep rather than cuddle so I put a bucket beside her bed. My six year old. That's who. Listen to sermon on-line. We left the doctor's office with two plans of action:. 1) Get...

The Schmidt House: Back Reading
http://the-schmidt-house.blogspot.com/2015/08/back-reading.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. I am very grateful for this blog. Because I am of the Leaky Memory Society, I forget so much stuff. I'd never remember where we went or who came to visit us (That's why I have visiting and visitor labels). Another fun thing about back reading is the day to day stuff. I just read a post about making meatballs. This is from when Cailyn was two (December 2010). Second note to self. Brought to you by Lisa. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. So wheres the link?
