I was born and brought up in the small fishing town of Arbroath in Angus, on the east coast of Scotland, and I grew up listening to and learning local songs. For several years I've had it on my mind to develop an idea called Dig Where You Stand. But Dig Where You Stand? That said, there is some theory behind my thinking.
