I am a small girl from a small Italian town who, since the last summer, has been walking on the huge streets of the US state where “everything is bigger”. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies, probably because I love eating, and it’s natural for me to associate my experiences with food. Not only cooking adventures of an Italian abroad. May 29, 2012. Today it was my last day as a volunteer in a kindergarten class. My role was to be a mentor for one of the kid in the class, a 5-year-old smart-eyed boy. I barely held back the laughs, but the feeling that prevailed in me was a great tenderness toward this little man, for whom the furthest known land is by none Maine.
