the life and times of kit: Intrigue
http://kitpollard.blogspot.com/2005/12/intrigue.html
The life and times of kit. Wednesday, December 07, 2005. How awesome is this. Two long-missing Heinrich Burkel paintings resurfaced at a recent auction. The paintings went missing after being removed from a museum during WWII and apparently made their way to a man in Pennsylvania, who bequeathed them to his daughter. She put them up for auction, completely unaware of their history. Posted by Kit Pollard at 3:04 PM. Do you know that i used to want to be an FBI agent? Then i watched FEDS- the rebecca demor...

the life and times of kit: The Egg People
http://kitpollard.blogspot.com/2005/12/egg-people.html
The life and times of kit. Tuesday, December 13, 2005. Last summer, Cooper and I bought ourselves a housewarming gift (we like to give ourselves presents): a painting called the Drinknapper. The artist is the wife of Cooper's hair stylist (yes, stylist) and the painting is extremely cool. It shows two "egg people" embroiled in some drama involving a martini. The colors are bright - turquoise, pink, green - and it is definitely the centerpiece of our kitchen. I love it. Posted by Kit Pollard at 8:40 AM.

The life and times of kit. Friday, January 28, 2005. 1 Right now I'm eating a pint of Sharon's Gourmet Sorbet from Trader Joe's - in coconut. It is delicious. Tastes exactly like the inside of a Mounds Bar. I really recommend it. 2 I also recommend this article. Anyway, it's an interesting article. I'll be thinking about it for a while. The life and times of kit. Thursday, December 22, 2005. TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (December 22). You are honored this year for being what many consider to be the rock of their group. You don't mind that others depend on you, because inwardly, you know you're strong enough to share. Financial rewards come in April. Romance blossoms when you're open and vulnerable in February. Scorpio and Cancer make sweet partners. Your lucky numbers are: 3, 28, 5, 44 and 20. Yeah, financial rewards in April. What I Do All Day.

http://kitpollard.blogspot.com/2005/12/songbook.html
The life and times of kit. Monday, December 12, 2005. Althouse posts about a song that she loves. In part because it reminds her of a specific time and place. Between the posts and the comments, it's very Songbook. Which is very cool. Plus, the song whe writes about is I Can't Explain. Which is one of my favorite songs EVER. The life and times of kit. Tuesday, January 10, 2006. In Case You Were Wondering. I haven't abandoned this blog. The truth is, even without much of a job, it's hard to keep up with three blogs. Lately, most of my effort is going to the food blog. And that's probably how it's going to stay, at least for a while. I'm sorry if I'm disappointing any of the five of you. The life and times of kit. Tuesday, November 30, 2004. Behind the Wheel of Fortune. My hometown, Severna Park, Maryland, only boasts one bona fide celebrity: Pat Sajak. While we don't exactly need our own version of the Gawker Stalker. And I couldn't be prouder, now, after reading this article. In which Sajak very succinctly takes Hollywood to task for all but ignoring the death of Theo van Gogh. Posted by Kit Pollard at 5:58 PM. Posted by Kit Pollard at 3:13 PM. Last night, Ann Althouse. The life and times of kit. Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Funniest Part of Our Trip to NYC. Erin and I went to New York for the day yesterday, so she could do some thesis research and we could eat and shop. Funniest moment of the entire day - by far - was the minute that she and I both realized, simultaneously, that all of the art in one room at the MOMA. Had been underwritten by Stavros. The life and times of kit. Thursday, December 08, 2005. Originally uploaded by Kit Pollard. Last night Cooper and I met some friends in Hamden to visit Baltimore's own Miracle on 34th Street. It wasn't too crowded - it was very, very cold - but the lights were out in full force, as always. I took a bunch of pictures, but the one I wanted most didn't turn out quite right. One house, around the corner from the famous block, decorates their entire house around a Christmas Story-esque leg lamp. Originally up...
