Sleeping Beautys Got Nothing on Me. March 7th, 2011. This something I've been working on. I know it needs more work, but I'm not sure where to take it. I feel like it is is not quite a poem and not quite a story. And as it is. it feels like something is missing. it needs polishing or a direction. I don't know. Any thoughts? I willed the mouth in the mirror to move. The edges drew up. The full, pouty lower lip pulled taut as the smile grew. I made mirror me smile. But it was a charlatan staring at me.
