At Home and Beyond: wow
http://athomeandbeyond.blogspot.com/2011/08/wow.html
At Home and Beyond. Friday, August 26, 2011. This is a plein air painting I did on Woody's boat but wait it doesn't look like it really. I intensified the colors in Picasa on the computer - I believe my eyes were bleaching the colors. This will be the studio painting. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Watercolor Soceity of Alabama. At Home and Beyond: Quick Moving Chicago Storm
http://athomeandbeyond.blogspot.com/2010/10/quick-moving-chicago-storm.html
At Home and Beyond. Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Quick Moving Chicago Storm. An oil painting done on the porch looking west as the afternoon spring storms passed through. One of the first storm paintings to challenge my ability to quickly put down believeable impressions. This was done in 1995. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Watercolor Soceity of Alabama. At Home and Beyond: Wealcome to Gay Paree
http://athomeandbeyond.blogspot.com/2010/09/wealcome-to-gay-paree.html
At Home and Beyond. Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Wealcome to Gay Paree. This is a sketch while a small tour group was inside Notre Dame and I waited outside of the lanterns that are all over Paris, the Haussman roofline suggested in the background, the trees but especially the people. Definitely a people watching city. enjoyed my time there, too short and want to go again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Watercolor Soceity of Alabama. artists-at-work: see how small
http://kitsgirl-artists-at-work.blogspot.com/2010/05/see-how-small.html
Sunday, May 2, 2010. Now you can see the size in comparison to the blank watercolor post card pad. I have assembled the little pochade box from the previous blog and have put it in a sandwich (? Size plastic bag which on site doubles as a trash bag. I can also fit the post card pad into the sandwich baggie if I want to paint larger than ATC. so very very portable. (Is this plein air if I'm not in the air) This is the result and thank you so much Preston. Definitely an artist-at-work because I know Preston was and Pat was and I was. here it is. artists-at-work: Criitquing
http://kitsgirl-artists-at-work.blogspot.com/2011/03/criitquing.html
Monday, March 7, 2011. Here we are at the pavilion in Indian Springs because it is raining and we are painting after putting in some works at the Generation Gallery (some of the works, we had just taken down from the United Bank of Jackson exhibition) p.s. by the way four works sold! This is the critique each of us gave. it is so nice to paint plein air with other painters! That is Preston King, Pat Burns and Bambi Rogers with their thinking caps on.
