http://scribbled-ink.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 25, 2008. October 23rd, 2008. The true beginning of winter for the community of Girdwood, Alaska is the day the first snow falls that sticks around for the entire season. Today, if weather predictions can be at all trusted, marks the beginning of winter in Girdwood. I awoke this morning from a dream (about snowboarding goggles! Two wheel drive on the fresh snow is not impressive for barreling down on uninvited bear guests. This kind of confrontation happens frequently in Girdwood...

Scribbled in Ink: January 2009
http://scribbled-ink.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 6, 2009. And 15 degrees below zero. It's the longest cold snap in years for the municipality of Anchorage. We're going on two weeks of temperatures with a high of -2 and a low of -20 Fahrenheit. Blow your nose before you ride your bike to work, or your snot will freeze and you'll have to breathe through your mouth! Trust me on that one. After a week-long hiatus of no phone or internet service (the company wanted me to give them money, those fiends! But let's not get sidetracked. Followin...

I'm also here to check out the city and get some first impressions. And I'm also here to visit Bellingham and produce pictures of it for Emily and Toby, who will be moving there within a month's time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, May 28, 2009. Girdwood is a Rainforest. Girdwood is a rainforest with bears and lots of mud. So, we are building a suspended wooden platform to keep us out of the muck! I've thrown this mini-movie together for a brief look at what we're up to out there. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The New Adventures of Old Hannah. The reality of True Love. Scribbled in Ink: July 2009
http://scribbled-ink.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 26, 2009. My friend, Lisa, has been kind enough to share assignments from her online fictional writing course with me. Assignment #1 guidelines posted below, followed by my three submissions. :). Ohhhh I'm staring at the light again. And I love it, in a weird, slightly masochistic, sense-retarding way. Just for a couple minutes, so that lingering retinal-burn orb creeps across most of my vision like some kind of reverse tunnel vision. Now I walk down the hall. And I only need a sip! Squeeze ...

http://pretty-to-think-so.blogspot.com/2011/05/so-many-books.html
Isn't it pretty to think so? For a while now, I've been posting brief reviews of books here and there on other sites thanks to Powell's Daily Dose and its lure of free books, but I've recently been inspired by my amazing pal Audrey and her work over at. To post reviews here. After all, what good is it being a bibliophile if you can't share the love? Gay LA.: A History of Sexual Outlaws, Power Politics, and Lipstick Lesbians. Lillian Faderman and Stuart Timmons. Sin City vol. 1: The Hard Goodbye. A lot of...

Isn't it pretty to think so? I'm cool. i have tattoos. A Heap of Broken Thoughts. Which, as you might imagine, made things a little complicated. Nevertheless, having known the guy since I was five (maybe even a little before that), I figured I was in as good of a position as anyone to do the job, so I gave it a shot:. Since the dawn of time, man has pondered the ineffable. What is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything? Where does the one sock go when half the pair disappears in the dryer?

Isn't it pretty to think so? And they called it mandroid love. So remember when I said the guys over at Star Wars v. Star Trek. Were going to let me edit their blog. It turns out I'm allowed to write there, too! Slow boat to china. My chinese consulate friend / san francisco. And by boat, I mean very long flight(s), but you get the idea. I quit this bitch! I wrote this back in the days when we were all firmly entrenched in the Space. I have given my three weeks' notice. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). BEN-JA...
