I just read this article by the BBC about sauna and what it means to Finnish people. I like the article and the way it’s trying to reach out to the more reserved British/English-speaking (because I would say that Australia is just as reserved when it comes to the idea of sauna) public with the idea of sauna not being about sex but about health and well-being. Yes, I know – it looks really savoury, like it has pureed spinach or something.
