Knit One, Quilt Two: August 2008

http://knitonequilttwo.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Knit One, Quilt Two. Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Presenting My New Living Room! The living room is finally functional! Furniture as been moved into it and the TV is mounted! We have purchased a new entertainment unit, bookcase, lamps and ceiling light. We still have a few things left that we would like to do to finalize it but there is no hurry. My purse can use the break! Not very pretty at all. But just look at it now! We have loaded it with pictures of the grandchildren for now. The floor was a major pa...

Knit One, Quilt Two: October 2008

http://knitonequilttwo.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Knit One, Quilt Two. Monday, October 13, 2008. The frost is on the pumpkin here in Maine, or should I say on the Queen Anne's Lace. I have taken up morning walks and am enjoying the beauty of nature changing into her autumn clothing like never before. The trees are alive with color. I walk by this lovely young maple daily and can't help but give her the onceover, she is just so pretty in her red dress. The milkweed pods have dried and opened to release their angel winged seeds. Back on the home front, we...

Knit One, Quilt Two: Easy Street Top Done!

http://knitonequilttwo.blogspot.com/2013/03/easy-street-top-done.html

Knit One, Quilt Two. Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Easy Street Top Done! Since it was such a crazy print, I paired it with the most sedate gray fabric I owned, an old Jinny Beyer print. What fun to see what would happen when the "wild and crazy guy" fabric married the understated elegant fabric! My Black and White with my Gray. And this is what the finished 4-patches looked like:. And here we see a dolphin swimming by waiting to give a ride to Savannah Marquis! Finished Easy Street Top. I won't be adding a bo...

Knit One, Quilt Two

http://knitonequilttwo.blogspot.com/2010/03/i-want-to-share-some-of-projects-i-have.html

Knit One, Quilt Two. Wednesday, March 17, 2010. I want to share some of the projects I have finished over the course of the winter. I made a scarf from the pattern "Shaken Not Stirred" by Wendy Gaal to wear with my winter coat. The kit, which included the pattern, fingering weight yarn in the color "Margarita with Salt", beads, and a cute martini stitch marker, was part of a knit-a-long/contest, of which I was a winner! By Chrissy Gardiner called Gull Wings. She likes them. I knitted a pair of pretty pin...

Knit One, Quilt Two: April Breads

http://knitonequilttwo.blogspot.com/2010/03/april-breads.html

Knit One, Quilt Two. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. I made both of the two breads for the HBin5 group this session. The first one was Carrot Bread, made with whole wheat flour, shredded carrots, coconut, walnuts, and dried cranberries. I really liked this one. I used sweetened coconut so this made a lovely toasting bread for breakfast. Here is a closeup showing the cranberries, freshly sliced and ready for butter! Would you like a slice? Id love a slice! March 31, 2010 at 8:22 PM. March 31, 2010 at 8:34 PM.
