Art for the community and a community for artists! Kristie F. Cecil. I draw from an early love of nature and a desire to find the extraordinary in everyday places. My work is distinguished by my ability to capture the sense of place as particular, with an emotional subtlety that resonates. As Sigurd Olson once said, “Joys come from simple and natural things; mist over meadows, sunlight on leaves, the path of the moon over water. Even rain and wind and stormy clouds bring joy.”.
