The Preppy Paperie: Chevron Love
http://thepreppypaperie.blogspot.com/2012/12/chevron-love.html
Sunday, December 30, 2012. 2012 has been an amazing year. I never expected my business to grow as much as it has in just a year. I am very excited to see what lies ahead in 2013! So when Katia approached me about an all chevron invitation, I was excited. This one was so much fun to do that I decided to incorporate the invitation into my store ( https:/ www.etsy.com/listing/81901381/chevron-stripe-wedding-invitations-get. The Preppy Paperie: February 2012
http://thepreppypaperie.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 23, 2012. Stripes are an obsession of mine. No matter how elegant or casual your affair is, stripes will always work. Vanessa and Rob loved my "Lovie Lobster" invitation set, but wanted to add a few more enclosures to the original set. I love when my brides throw new challenges at me! I wanted the entire set to have a cohesive look, but also for each piece to be unique on its own. I played around with different patterns, but fell back to my trusty stripes. Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Lily Inspired Crab Invitation. I met Jillian around this time last year. She loved my crab love invitation, but wanted to make it uniquely hers. I immediately got excited. She wanted an invitation with a Lily Pulitzer (LOVE! And preppy theme. Boy, did she come to the right place! I had to get my brain inspired, so I hopped down to my favorite Lily Store, The Pink Crab. The Preppy Paperie: October 2012
http://thepreppypaperie.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 15, 2012. I wanted a centralized motif to carry through all the stationery. I did a simple pattern inside the sailboat mast to give it that extra pop. I tied up the invitations with bakers twine and a tag (not shown) listing her registry information. I loved the idea (props to the co-host for telling me about it! Of writing a note to baby with your hopes and aspirations for him. And of course, no shower is complete without gift bingo! With the sailboat theme. Labels: Ahoy its a boy. In de...

The Preppy Paperie: July 2011
http://thepreppypaperie.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 16, 2011. Watch out blogosphere, we've arrived! Create a Blog" never left my list because I knew that I needed another outlet to share where the Preppy Paperie gets inspiration. I will also be sharing all the paper thats in process in our "studio". Since this is still a part-time operation, our "studio" consists of the front office of my house. Much to the displeasure of a 3 1/2 year old golden retriever who previously occupied the space. I look forward to sharing my paper inspirations!

The Preppy Paperie: September 2011
http://thepreppypaperie.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 27, 2011. This summer, Lainie contacted me all the way from Australia to design her invitations based on my Merry Monogram suite. Lainie already had her monogram designed by someone else and just wanted it incorporated into the suite. Sunday, September 18, 2011. Save the Date Cartography. Font selection was key! I always love using Campbell in anything nautical. And the incorporation of Burges Script really sets the stage for an elegant affair. I decided to print on my new 110l...Thurs...

The Preppy Paperie: Classic Yellow and Grey
http://thepreppypaperie.blogspot.com/2012/10/classic-yellow-and-grey.html
Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Classic Yellow and Grey. Earlier this year, Nicole contacted the Preppy Paperie to create custom Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations. She sent me a few very diverse inspiration images to get the designs started. All of her inspiration images had strong typography (which I love! I loved each piece I created for Nicole and Nick, but the ones she chose were my absolute favorite. The map marker design tied back to the main invitation- a very small detail that most may not have...
