http://photosurfsuistain2009.blogspot.com/2009/04/last-week.html
Photo Surf Sustainability 2009. Thursday, April 2, 2009. This day we took out Kayaks, and Boogie Boards, Underwater Cameras, and tried to take photos underwater and above. We had a great time. This day we reinforced the surfboard, and prepared the top panel. Some of us even dared to paddle from La Jolla Shore to The Cove to see the Sea Life! We put the top on the board and glues it all down. I want to thank everyone involved this was soo much fun! And we could not have done this without your support!

Photo Surf Sustainability 2009: Day 4!
http://photosurfsuistain2009.blogspot.com/2009/03/day-4.html
Photo Surf Sustainability 2009. Saturday, March 28, 2009. We spent a lot of time at Balboa Park practicing landscape documentary. Some of our cameras automatically stitched photos together. When we returned to class, we started printing our photos out and stitching them into panoramic photos. Back in class we finished making out camera housing from an 50 cal amo case, which has rubber water seals on the inside. Posted by Mr. Ethington. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Photo Surf Sustainability 2009. Saturday, March 28, 2009. Back at school we finished our sanding table which will be used after we deck the top panel of the board onto to the bottom. We also attached the starter strip which is the lowest part of the rail connected to the bottom panel. This is the true outline of the board. So far it looks pretty fair and true (it has a nice even curve.). Check it out on Spring Break. Posted by Mr. Ethington. Posted by Mr. Ethington. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. The second ...

Photo Surf Sustainability 2009. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Wood Surfboard and Environment. By volume, our board is mostly air - the same that we breathe, not a toxic blend that is the by-product of foam production. Because our cedar ships from mills in Maine, and because it is the largest single component by weight, Grain avoids the large environmental costs of trans-national or international transport of raw materials that is common in the current “just in time†manufacturing culture.
