Friday, October 15, 2010. We took our very first family vacation this month! We headed to the cities and of course, got stuck in a traffic jam on the way there. Luckily the boys slept through the majority of it or I don't know what we would have done! We are adults and were going crazy! We spent Friday night in our hotel. We decided to splurge and get a 2 room suite and were SO thankful we did when Cooper did not want to go to bed! He was WAY too excited! Cooper was awake for it but thank you DVD player!

Friday, October 15, 2010. We celebrated Mother's Day by all going to church together - which is always interesting. Grandpa Ronnie, Grandma Donna, Uncle Brent T., Auntie Holly and Uncle Brent A came over for supper to help celebrate. The boys "helped" Daddy bake a chocolate cake for Mama. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Cole was baptized on Sunday April 19th at Marantha Free Lutheran Church. It was a nice baptism and it was so nice to have so many family and friends come be a part of the special day. Cole's Godparents are Connie's brothers, Brent and Brian. It was a fun time to visit and see everyone and just a great day! We stayed with Burkels as usual and went to church with them on Sunday morning. Then we headed home. It was a nice weekend. This week I've been putting Ethan in all of the different Halloween outfits that I have for him. Of course this also means that I need to take a ton of pictures in each outfit. I don't think Ethan finds the photo shoots to be nearly as much fun as I do! He is a good sport though! On Monday he was Mommy's Little Pumpkin. On Wednesday he was Daddy's Little Monster. Confessions of a Stay-at-Home Mom. Sunday, October 17, 2010. While I dislike it, I do understand it but try explaining to an almost 3 year old why Daddy is too tired when he asks to "play wrestle". Not easy. Cooper is in a "destructive" phase, which isn't easy for a mom who likes things nice and organized. Or for poor Cole, who is in a "building" phase. He loves to build towers with his blocks and will just get one started and the "big bad wolf" will come along and knock it down. It's all about the name.
