Firstly loading the save game. When I looked into making game saves I found four choices. as well as pro’s and cons. GamePrefs: Unity’s option saving system. Uses the window’s registry to save game data. Pros: Built in, Easy to program. Cons:Hard to Edit,Hard to share saves. Pros:Fully Customizable, Easy to Edit.

Will it be multiplayer? I have no plans on to make it multiplayer. Will it be free? No, unfortunately. Although I don’t plan to charge too much for it. Newer posts →. April 16, 2013 · 5:49 pm. After working on the Item pickup Script I decided to go for the whole thing. This is actually Part 1 in my 5 step plan to get the game to a running state. The plan is this. More on the other parts as I get to them. but for now Items. I am currently working on the Item’s (not done yet). Using the Static data system I figured out for chat, I have duplicated it for Items. There are three parts to the item system. A re-directer (basically a phone book for the scripts).

Quick Post but a Cool Post. A Small Chat →. March 30, 2013 · 4:24 pm. Step 1 is done, The dungeon generator is finished(at least to the point I can work on other things in the game.). The last step was to build the dungeon using Game Objects. Due to a few errors this took a bit longer than anticipated. The current system took 3 new scripts to write out consisting of 500 lines of code. Why so much? Appologies for the darkness(no lights). I have been thinking about how to add natural light into the dungeon.

June 3, 2013 · 5:19 am. In the beginning…. There was a title screen. Yep, title screen done. It wasn’t that hard since the script was 80% borrowed from the test demo. The background is blank currently, I’m not sure if I’ll re-import the background I made for the tech demo or do something more impressive. It’s getting interesting and difficult here. about 85% of critical scripts are done, now I’m connecting everything together. Additionally to that I wrote a new window for new games.
