Tuesday, March 03, 2009. Momma's havin' sweet dreams! This weekend I went with 2 friends to Canton, TX. Friday night we stayed at my friend's mom's house in Dallas and then headed to Canton for the day on Saturday. In Canton, they have a big sale the first weekend of every month. They have anything from junk to antiques to boutiquey stuff. It was so much fun! One thing I was looking forward to was getting a full night's sleep without being woken up by 2 little girls. :). Her name is Alyssa and her new favorite veggie is asparagus. I'm not sure how many spears of asparagus she ate tonight for dinner (Matt and I were both feeding her), but she ate A LOT! Feb 28, 2011. Oak Glen in February! Our baby girl was coming soon and I wanted to have one more family day before we became a family of five. The weather forecast called for rain most of the weekend so at the last minute we decided to head up to Oak Glen (our favorite fall destination) for some snow fun! The boys had never been in the snow before and they had a blast! Rain boots work nicely as snow boots if you're really unprepared for the snow! Building our snow man. Next time, there will be 5 of us!

Friday, February 13, 2009. Here's an exchange that happened tonight between Matt and Grace. Grace hopped up in Matt's lap trying to see the computer screen that showed the flight tracker for Minima and Bapa's flight to Austin. Matt: "Grace, you're all up in my grill! Tuesday, November 25, 2008. It seems like everytime the girls and I leave Daddy, one of the girls does something new. (Sorry Daddy! Alyssa is now at that stage where it seems like she changes everyday. I don't want to take my eyes off of her for fear I'll miss something. Alyssa loves to watch her hands. Monday, February 23, 2009. In the past 6 months or so, we've been trying to eat more organic and natural foods. Included with that, is trying to make food from scratch when we can. Here are a few things I've made:. BREAD: I make all of our bread from scratch (with the help of a bread maker). I do the dough in the bread maker, let it rise in a loaf pan and then bake it in the oven. CARAMEL SAUCE: I've made caramel sauce to put in lattes, on homemade cinnamon buns, and apples! It's so easy and it also makes.

Saturday, February 21, 2009. 12 Days turns into 52 Weeks. Well, for my final "Day of Christmas," Matt wanted each of us to come up with 26 things (52 weeks in a year) that we would enjoy for 2009. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. The past few weeks, Miss Brenda (Grace's gymnastics teacher) has had the girls wear something other than a leotard. A few weeks ago they wore their favorite team jersey (of course she wore her Pujols shirt! Thank you Uncle Jeff and Aunt Loran! And the next week they wore pajamas. Today they wore their Halloween costumes. I know you'll have a hard time believing this.but all the girls were princesses for Halloween! Here are some pics. Even Alyssa dressed for the occasion.
