On the Road To Somewhere: April 2013
http://plantecologist2.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
On the Road To Somewhere. Thursday, April 18, 2013. What's up with this week? Thankfully, I have a fun weekend planned ahead - a day of friends, archery, throwing sheep (? Laughter, sunshine (need to remember the sunscreen), bling, girlie drinks, and general fun. I know that the sun will come out and the weather will someday be warm again. And, while I know that I am truly blessed, I am so ready for this week to be over. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Kansas City Metropolitan Area.

Pendie's Purls of wisdom: May 2011
http://pendie99.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Pendie's Purls of wisdom. Sunday, May 15, 2011. Can you believe it? Yes, after a year and a half of unemployment, I have finally landed a job. A nice job working for a nice company. I haven't gotten the confirmation email yet so I hope I didn't imagine it. I have two weeks to get everything done I was supposed to get done over the past year and a half. I will also have to squeeze in some knitting, of course. I won this wonderful yarn and shawl pattern from Wandering Cat Studio. Sunday, May 1, 2011. I've ...

A Basket For My Case: It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife
http://messpiles.blogspot.com/2010/05/its-like-ten-thousand-spoons-when-all.html
A Basket For My Case. I've gone out of my mind, if I should return before I get back please ask me to wait. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife. The dog is sick, both birds are sick, I get to have an endometrial biopsy next week and I might have Lupus on top of whatever else is wrong but the rheumatologist says I have to wait a month to do more testing. We all need to come out of this okay. DO YOU HEAR ME UNIVERSE? Labels: ironing the irony. December 7, 1941.

On the Road To Somewhere: November 2012
http://plantecologist2.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
On the Road To Somewhere. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Friday morning, I was driving out to have breakfast with my Dad and Step-mom and the check engine light came on, though it wasn't flashing. Well GREAT! I still think it is probably bad gas, but I would feel like such a dum-dum if I didn't get it look at and then it broke down on the way home. So back to the dealership. Now at this point, I know some of you are going to be wonder why the Dealership? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Jane's Mad Howls: 09/01/2011 - 10/01/2011
http://feraljane.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Life in These United States. Saturday, September 10, 2011. Well, it’s fall. Oh, alright, technically not until 21 September, but leaves are starting to turn, die and fall off the trees (or turn, fall off the trees and die). Even here in Seattle, where it’s freaking 85 degrees and we’ve had only one day of rain since July 18th. Those of you in the parade route of tropical storms are experiencing mid-monsoon season, from what I can gather. Hurricanes can show up through the end of, what, November? The othe...

http://feraljane.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Life in These United States. Monday, March 29, 2010. Being unemployed, I have plenty of time to comb through newspapers and look for knitting news. Today’s news included an article about needleworking truckers. Including this fellow below…. And knitting terrorism in West Cape May, New Jersey. An example of which is below:. South Jersey - you need the help. Trust me - I've been there. Let the knitters alone, would you? But you don’t really think that I was all excited about these news items, do you? 8220;...
