Thursday, April 1, 2010. Murder City: Ciudad Juarez and the Global Economy's New Killing Fields. This NPR story is the best analysis of the failed state to our south that I've heard to date. Bowden, a Tucson resident is a courageous journalist and author. He has devoted many years to documenting life and events in Mexico and how they affect our country. I hope he lives. So far he is one of the lucky ones. A friend said some time ago that the border is a hemorrhage where the United States meets Mexico.
