Saturday, July 19, 2014. No new data to prove she's getting bigger but it's pretty obvious she's growing! We've officially moved onto solid foods and kicked the bottle to the curb. She's been strictly drinking from a sippy cup for about three weeks now! Such a big girl! We still have a few purees left but she really prefers to feed herself these days. She'll eat just about anything you put in front of her, however, anything with cheese is a HUGE hit. The only thing she really won't eat is bananas? Watchi...

Monday, January 13, 2014. She's getting bigger and stronger every day! What an amazing miracle it is to watch her grow right in front of our eyes. Rice cereal.she is just not a fan of that stuff. We will start giving her other foods soon so hopefully that will go over better. She loves to tell stories, talk about her day, and just make noise (lots of noise). Anything she can get her hands on (she's big into hair pulling right now)! She's really enjoying her rattle ball and still loves her crinkle books.

Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Easter weekend began with some visitor's looking to experience some Colorado high country. Without wanting to venture to far into the mountains we opted to take in a hike about a half hour down the road. Maxwell Falls was an enjoyable four mile loop and was Emilia's first real outdoor outing. This rock was much disputed. What does it look like to you? Perhaps a skeleton, George Washington, a duck, a bull dog…? Kaci always enjoys a little off leash freedom. All ready for church!

Tuesday, February 17, 2015. 2' 9" (85th percentile). 23 lbs 5 oz (60th percentile). She still loves all of her favorite foods from her birthday and is getting really good at using a fork or spoon. Put cheese on it and she'll eat it! Recently she's also started working on drinking out of a cup. Such a big girl! Mama, Dada, Daddy, Kaci, no, hi, wow, please, bye, thank you, more, ball, up, down, one, two, blue, yellow, read, book, puppy, kitty, pretty, cookie,.and more. She learns new words every day.

Our church, being as wonderful as it is, is holding family movie nights each weekend in December. The first weekend was The Grinch Who Stole Christmas with a visit from a very special guest.Santa! Monday, August 25, 2014. Summer was here and gone in the blink of an eye. I really enjoyed being home with Em for these past few weeks. School starts back up again tomorrow (kiddos next week) and I thought I would do a quick little recap of some of the fun things we did but forgot to blog about. It's obvious this post was intended to be published several weeks ago. Just goes to show how crazy things get once school starts. Anyway here's some things we missed from the past few months. Saturday, February 7, 2015. Here's a quick recap of just a few things we did this winter. Thanks to our amazing friends from South Dakota our zoo membership was renewed and with that came a set of tickets for Zoo Lights. We took Emilia last year but she was so little she slept the entire time. This year, however, was a different story. Everything was "wow" and "Oooo", she was in heaven.
