Started Mobility Training and other news - Morn's Insanity
http://mornhyland.livejournal.com/297225.html
Just a moment in time. Started Mobility Training and other news. Apr 4th, 2008 at 9:18 PM. Today was my first day of mobility training. I guess I should back up a step and say that I went to the intake appointment with the Independent Living Resources. In future lessons we will work on things like when being guided, how to go through a narrow space and up/down stairs properly. It was just a first day, but while I didn't want to use the cane it is hard to say it didn't help. 2 comments Leave a comment.

BOOK SALON

Where the elitists hang out. The White Darkness by Geraldine McCaughrean. Reviewed The White Darkness. For us back in January, and I was intrigued enough by her description to request it from the library. I was frustrated by the beginning of the book, and I'm still a little irritated that the narrator was so passive, but this was a beautiful book. I wish I had the original copy in which I stuck post-it flags on the most remarkable passages. Searching for her original review, I realized. July 6, 2008.

Maria's response to our discussion earlier today - Morn's Insanity

Just a moment in time. Maria's response to our discussion earlier today. Apr 20th, 2008 at 10:41 PM. Wrote this Childish or just human. Earlier tonight. It is in response to a conversation we had earlier today. I said more than I should I have, getting frustrated can cause you betray more of what others have said than you wish to. Feeling hurt and alone can cause you to just repeat things that were said without thinking of the consequences. Sadly, time moves but one direction. 4 comments Leave a comment.

And you may ask yourself: Well, how did I get here? Oct 30th, 2013 at 10:22 PM. I made a batch of linguine with clam sauce chocked full of fresh veggies - sauteed onion, red and green pepper, mushrooms, fresh chopped parsley - and we ate and carved and scraped pumpkin guts and saved seeds for roasting and it was nothing special but oh so special at the same time. Hubby always plans his ahead; this year he did a wine bottle and glass. He tried to read some of their written exchange to me, but he was laugh...
