Ringing in 2013 in Asheville. January 12, 2013. I heard that the Biltmore has an amazing tour during the holidays, and finally decided to go! We got to see most of the 255 rooms in the house, at night, but we also got to enjoy the Christmas decorations the next day, too! This is us waiting in a quick line to get in (while it was freezing! The only place open and that could seat us was a bar about a mile away from our car (ok, but it FELT like a mile! It sprayed ALL over the place! On New Year’s Day...

Saturday, August 22, 2009. We've been M.I.A. from the blogging world for a while now, and it's high time that I start up again. So.here I am! Here is a long list of the things we've been doing since the last time I posted:. Went to the driving range with Nate and Eryn. Bought mountain bikes and broke them in with lots of rides in the mountains. Watched the 4th of July fireworks up near the Draper temple. We could see about 10 groups of fireworks.it was awesome. Went to a couple REAL Salt Lake soccer games.

Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Ben left AGAIN for the first 3 weeks in November to start his residency interviews. He got back just in time for Thanksgiving. We decided to stay in Richmond this year since Ben has been traveling so much. We were invited to have Thanksgiving dinner with several friends from our ward and it was delicious. Saturday, December 14, 2013. I am almost done with my first semester of PhD school - it has been an absolute whirlwind. I feel like my second home has been the Kansas City airport. I think I've been there 5 or 6 times so far this semester! I even found myself thinking that I could live here forever. Thursday, May 28, 2009. When I was a little kid I was constantly falling asleep in one spot and waking up in another, or having incoherent conversations in my sleep. Often times it would be something simple, like I’d walk into my parents room, mumble something that made absolutely no sense, and get sent back to bed. Well, as I got older I continued this trend. When I was about 9 or 10 years old, we went on a family vacation out to CA. Good times, huh mom? Even in college, I still did this kind of stuff.

Monday, October 26, 2009. A couple days ago we bought Loo a Halloween chew toy from Walmart. I didn't get a 'before' picture, but it looked basically like this guy here:. Although except for wings, her toy had a rope loop on each side. Within 20 minutes - no exaggeration - this is what it looked like:. Best $5 we've ever spent.
