Reflections, Rants and Raves. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Haiku #2: The Leap. Testing, Testing…. Old Dog, New Trick. Ever hear of a reverso poem? Never, that is, until one of my students sent me one she wrote. Then I thought, “Now THAT’s something I have to try.”. So, the two of us had a nice lunch together today and spoke of all things, both poetry and otherwise, and she taught me how to create a reverso poem. I took a stab at it. From top to bottom. Go ahead. I’ll wait. Yet I long to feel.

Reflections, Rants and Raves. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Seesaw Kind of Day. My Sweet Pittle Loem. So I heard this story the other day. Who saw a lama for his pain. Had trained his heart. To grow big as the sea. So it could shoulder the. Burdens of the suffering. Asked for the guy’s hands. And he asked for the guy’s grief. And the guy felt better. I want to do that. Not to be the guy. Let my heart swell. Place your hands into mine. I will ask for your pain. And my heart will open wide.

Reflections, Rants and Raves. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Old Dog, New Trick. My Week In Stickies. Testing, Testing…. Now THIS sums up exactly how I view children, and how I view testing. Yes, testing gives us a “snapshot” of student achievement. And those of you who know how much I love numbers understand how I appreciate data. Complex, confusing, beautiful. Click to see this video. Watch Enjoy. Share. Reflections, Rants and Raves. Just another WordPress.com weblog. My Sweet Pittle Loem. Ever hear of spoonerisms? I asked my first graders to write poems in that style. They had so much fun I thought I’d join in. Here’s my attempt. Keep in mind that these poems are best when you read them out loud. It’s fun to hear the sounds and experiment with them. Give it a go! Stere’s a hory about a learded bady. Her hacial fair was wick and theighty. It ew grout from her tin to her choes. One dine fay, she gaw a suy.

Lainie's take on Love and Courtship
Lainie's take on Love and Courtship. Monday, February 12, 2007. Urban Myths in "Sex and the City". The implied author in this case is someone who understands the frustrations of women in their need to find men they can trust. Apparently there seems to be a shortage. Also, maybe the author has been, or has friends that have been burned by men's unfulfilled promises and lies. In discussing. Of course what we see all goes back to the motives of the many producers and writers etc., who hopefully most of ...

Reflections, Rants and Raves. Just another WordPress.com weblog. December 20, 2016. First, a poem I wrote:. The important thing about silence is that it is quiet. It comes in many shapes. And it might frighten you. Or distance you from others. It might fold around you in comfort and protection. It is a generous listener,. Or the house at night,. Of a pencil scratching,. Or children breathing in their sleep,. Or the hum of the earth. But the important thing about silence is that it is quiet. Then we got c...
