We were labeled the huns, as in honeys, by my sister Heidi. Tuesday, June 5, 2007. Life happened to us this weekend. On Friday we welcomed Mason to the world. On Saturday Jerry and I spent our first day off together since Christmas. On Monday my brother-in-law Brian headed to Camp Williams to begin his tour of duty in Iraq. The legs are a brushed stainless which matches the table legs and the natural woven seats compliment our rattan woven bar stools. As I stepped off the bus on the side of the highway at 4:00 pm just as the sun was setting and waited for the bus to pass I turned to the only other passenger to disembark at the Maglehem stop and asked, "Do you live here? I heard from a member of the San Rafael Ward that attendance is way down in the Famiy History Center. Were all my efforts in vain? I thought I made myself perfectly clear. Do it or die! OK, OK I am kidding, sorta. I thought I would share a little success story to inspire. I know a lot about my ancestors and to me it is difficult to imagine not knowing the details of their lives.

I saw a woman make Christmas tree shaped cakes using snowcone cups and an upside down foil roasting pan with holes cut in it to support the cups while they baked in the oven. This was Jerry's first trip to Yellowstone. I went a few times when I was a kid and it looks nothing like I remember. The 1988 fire was HUGE! We were labeled the huns, as in honeys, by my sister Heidi. Sunday, July 20, 2008. How do you sum up Flaming Gorge? So beautiful and rugged. We went camping and boating with a few other families. We toured the lake, went fishing and snorkeling. We sang songs around the campfire while Jerry played guitar. A good time was had by all. We cannot wait to go back next year. Links to this post.
