Earlier in the semester one of Emily and I’s Australia friends, Simo, started organizing a trip to Queensland which is the state just north of New South Wales where we are going to school. Just across the state border is a place called the Gold Coast which is known for its endless beach, the city Surfer’s Paradise, several theme parks, and a great night life. With the big group, we ended up renting three houses and taking seven cars.
